I doubt it. Once Putin started shooting the “globalist” interest in Ukraine plummeted. Merkel has spent the past five years ignoring Ukraine and paying the Ukrainians off with cash and Schengen visas to keep them happy.
They don’t need a coup. Incompetent ‘good’ government talking good talks and doing nothing real to stop previous wrongdoing is good enough for globalists.
