I don’t fully agree. The PKK really has been committing acts of terrorism inside Turkey. Doing that while we support Kurds hurts the US.

Comparing the PKK in Turkey to the YPG in Syria is like comparing ANTIFA in Portland to the Young Americans for Freedom in South Carolina. They really aren’t comparable.

Supporting Trump’s actions to actually fulfill his campaign promises to end our mid-East wars is a good thing. But supporting Trump doesn’t mean we should suddenly decide we need to demonize the Syrian Kurds (who died by the thousands in common cause with us fighting ISIS) and cheer on the unprovoked Turkish bombings and invasion.

There are villains in the current actions in Syria. And the villains are not Trump, not the Syrian Kurds, not Assad loyalist forces, not the Russians supporting them. The Villains are the Islamist Erdogan Turks and their Arab Islamist militia allies/minions.
