So money that is working and supplying jobs will be confiscated and given to those that offer no return on investment. Sounds like winner to me. Venezuela here we come!

I use to think this was about some loophole that let him steal all the donation loot.

I don’t think he cares about being elected. He wants to bring in all the radicals. Then, he gets money from places like Qatar to help Sarsour get into office. SO he is peddling influence.

Sanders, Warren and Beto are criminally insane

Absolutely ignorant. A company owning more of its shares gives it greater control over its own business and is incentive to become more productive. With fewer shares the dividends are higher and fewer shares increases the value of a stock on the market.

Buybacks get bought back from shareholders, so the company is coming to me saying, “We’ll give you $100 for your share.” If I like that price, then I’ll end up getting all my money out. So, the buyback money comes to us.

That’s all good common sense and basic capitalism at work.

Take a poll on how many average people out there approve of this, and you are gonna be highly disappointed.

Most people out there are not economically sophisticated.
They only know the they feel exploited and abused by what’s gone on in the economy over the past 3 to 4 decades. And that they want 1) change, and 2) someone to be punished.

We underestimate the support out there for stuff like this at our peril.

This sounds like something right out of “Atlas Shrugged”

Absolutely. It's heavy-handed government intervention into business. What next, "no companies may fire or hire new employees...no companies can reduce their output...no companies can increase their output..."

Directive 10-289, just as Ayn Rand portrayed.

> How about his 97% tax on wealthy Americans? <

I suggest a slight modification there: Make it a 97% tax on Bernie Sanders. And if that works out, move on to a 97% tax on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Etc.

“Hillary seems same by comparison.”

Maybe that is the plan.

Bernie is toast. Though the heart attack did not kill him physically it did kill him politically. Outside of his diehard support what he apparently retains per poling contains a bunch of people waiting to move to another candidate.

We need ads in the general showing America what a Warren\Sanders America looks like..Your job down at the paper plant, machine shop, retail..GONE. Unemployment benefits not enough to pay your mortgage, kids tuition, your 48k F-150 payment, your Summers down at the Outer Banks. All gone. You are a serf now. Homes are for urban minorities and illegals to live in, on your dime. Your property confiscated for “Diversity” and “Rectifying White Privileged”. You have had it too good, for too long now its time for you to pay even more. Government controlled thermostats, where your government clothing expense allowance is used on eco friendly used sweaters. Mandatory abortions for all white people, to rectify the population color mix. Gun confiscation, mandatory veganism, speech police, internment camps, street level informants\commissars reporting “societal” violations. Then next it’s Auschwitz. Wholesale murder.

What makes Germany successful? Germans. Obsessively organized and compulsively hard working Teutons.

Back in the Cold War days, when there was an East Germany, the saying was no one had ever invented a system the Russians could make work. Nor had anyone ever invented a system the Germans couldn't make work. Apply the same Socialistic scheme on American businesses and you'll end up with something approaching a Depression era economy. Just the situation Democrats crave. A poor and dependent mass governed by a well off politically defined cadre of effete "elites" living in their gated and well guarded enclaves.

Nah. She is, at her heart, truly and utterly corrupt. She can be bought. One of the reasons why I believe the hardcore Left won't allow her to be the nominee again. They view her as a sellout.

Its almost as if Warren and Sanders are campaigning for Hellery.

I know you say that in jest, but it's not as far fetched as you might think. If the Klinton Krime Klan has enough money to stay out of prison, then they have enough to buy a some low level pimps like sanders and biden and warren.

> Take a poll on how many average people out there approve of this, and you are gonna be highly disappointed. <

You’re right, especially if the first question is worded something like “Do you think that rich corporations should be paying their fair share?”

After getting a “yes” from that first question, you might even get a “yes” for a proposed 50% corporate tax.

(Side question: I wonder if schools still teach that parable about killing the goose who laid golden eggs.)

Sander’s campaign is done. Now his role is giving the other Dem socialists cover by spouting overt communism. Well, it always was, but now there is not even a fig leaf.

"So, the workers will own 45% of the means of production. Instant half-communism."

The Unions (after mandatory membership is enacted) will own 45% of the means of production!

I am the owner and President of a small C Corp. My take home pay is very modest. An increase in the corporate tax rate would have to come out of my pocket. Add this to the fact that my customers would begin demanding concessions to offset their taxes

On the first day that Sanders plan is implemented I will place an Out of Business sign on the door and lock it. I believe many would do the same. Say good bye to jobs and prosperity. Say hello to massive poverty and homelessness.
