I finally going to say it. You want an example of "cultural appropriation" that's been going on since the 1950's? Just look at Blacks and their straightened hair. Some went "fro" in the 60's, but there were still the Motown groups who went flat.
There is a hair salon every few streets in the Black communities, and guess what is the main requested hair style by Black women? Not only straightening, but extensions. Look at the biggest female stars. Now they also die their hair blond. Why do other races/ethic groups get to put down on whites about cultural appropriation and do the same thing?

It always humored me to see that in the drugstore, there are whole aisles dedicated to skin-whitening creams and hair-straightening chemicals for Black people; and aisles of perm chemicals and skin-tanning stuff for the White people.
We want to be each other.
