IIRC, in Pennsylvania semi-auto’s can be possessed but cannot be used for hunting. Handguns carried in the field must be revolvers only.

You can use semi-autos for certain game animals. I use my .22 semi-auto for squirrel and woodchucks and my AR-15 for coyote. Semi-autos aren’t allowed for deer hunting though. .223/5.56 is an excellent round for coyote.
