Another reason to avoid foreign entanglements. Alliances shift all the time
U.S. really can’t support either side.
I agree that the interests of the US are not served by getting into the middle of a shooting war between Iran/Syria, the Kurds and Turkey, and I agree it was a good move for the President to withdraw our troops. But, if Iran and Turkey start shooting at each other, does the US and other NATO countries get drawn in to support Turkey, a NATO ally?
