It’s electricity. It comes from the wall.
Rush reported yesterday that the batteries in a Tesla will cost $33,000 to replace and they wont last the life of the car

Oh no, my Tesla car battery is dead because I had no power all week. There is a wild fire just around the corner, how do I get out...
That is not good at all. Hopefully that is not happening to anybody.
A few years ago all of the electricity in San Diego County went out in the mid afternoon. It stayed down for several hours. Nobody could buy gasoline because the pumps did not work. People with almost empty tanks who were planning on buying gas after work were S.O.L.
and in other News , Dyson cancels it’s Electric Car
Didn’t W. tell us that sawgrass was the future?
In Florida the gas stations have generators, same with the grocery stores
When doe this entire fiasco turn into a state of emergency? The CA government has not been able to maintain the state and now there is a utility running rough shot over the populace. When doe the Federal Government get called in? I am wondering when that BS starts.
They have now plastered the pics of two guys who broke into cars - using them as the face of why theres a curfew. Its for your safety.
Its about as bad as when they blamed the video on the Benghazi.
I still think we need a three state solution. Calistan on the west coast and Yorkistan on the East Coast. America the beautiful in the middle.
Rush got it wrong.
Well this was in Florida and there was no gas.
The local TV station came on after a few hours and one thing they began to do is tell people where the nearest gas was.
They reported that DeFuniak Springs had gas (and power) and people began driving there just to fill up.
During the Gray Davis years, CA had an incentive program for businesses that shut down during brown-out conditions.
One of the businesses to take advantage was a fuel distribution pipeline that supplied gasoline (in the greater SF region, iirc). The result being that no fuel tankers could be filled to supply gas stations the first time it happened.
I can store 15 gals of gas in my garage. That would get me to the next State where we have a family property to escape to. I can’t store a can of electricity.
Pookie’s Toons nails it today on the electric cars.
But I can’t post photos or memes, so y’all gotta go look.
Look carefully at the “pumps.”
Should have a hybrid
You are probably the exception. I drive For Uber, I see a lot of careless bullies driving Priuses
