Graham Hopes Letter Will Stop Pelosi From Destroying America Says he's sending her a note that explains GOP senators won't impeach Trump over call
NEWSER) – Sen. Lindsey Graham says he's going to send Nancy Pelosi a letter that he hopes will stop her from "destroy[ing] the nation for no good." That's what she and her fellow House Democrats are doing in pursuing an impeachment inquiry, he says. "I want Nancy Pelosi to know that Republican senators are not going to impeach this president based on this transcript," he told Fox & Friends per the Hill, as they don't believe the call with Ukraine's president constitutes an impeachable offense.
He says he plans to get other Senate Republicans to pair their signatures with his before he sends it. His intended result? To get her to "stop now before she destroys the country." Politico reports Graham also again asked Pelosi to bring a resolution on the impeachment inquiry to the House floor for a vote, arguing that "you have to have a vote to make it legitimate." (Trump sent his own letter to Pelosi, and she responded.)

OK so it helps us a little bit politically for him to write the letter but hes trying to be reasonable with her in his tone which is his way and of course that’s going to have 0 effect on her.

No, but if he gets enough Republican senators to sign. Then Pelosi’s efforts become obviously futile.
This never had a chance in the Senate, Graham is making it crystal clear it doesn’t have a chance.
He needs to condemn the shampeachment in “the strongest possible terms”.
No one and nothing can survive that.
That will REALLY show her how mad he is.

I am more cynical. I take it to read that she better come up with something else that sticks. If she can do that, then she can count on their consideration. I notice how many serious charges are coming out. Surely they WILL find something that they can justify

Graham should send a second letter to Pelosi that states the Senate will immediately dismiss an articles of impeachment sent from the House unless the President’s due process rights and impeachment hearing precedents are followed.
She can’t stop, Goober. Her batpoop crazy AOC-loving base won’t let her.
Grahmnesty still doesn’t get it: what the Democrats think will save the country is what they are doing that will destroy it.
They continue what Moynihan referenced long ago and are trying to save us from who we have been, itself a continuation of early so-called “progressives” lusting for Arbitrary government which FDR finally gave them as he kicked the Constitution to the curb.

Your cynicism is well founded. I have no doubt that it wouldn’t take much to swing the feckless GOP against Trump. They view him as an outsider who makes them all look bad.
