Yes, it's humiliating considering that we paid for and constructed most of that station.

Our *manned* space program is a national disgrace. The active astronaut roster is 38 as of last year. The number of spaceships for the to fly is zero. They spend four hours per week flying trainer jets to maintain their "qualification" (ailerons and rudders don't work in space).

Then there's the NASA's 2010 Muslim Outreach scandal and their 2015 climate data scandal. It has become one of the most useless federal agencies. Just shut it down.
