Most of the areas where the power is shut off are conservative counties. Coincidence?

Remember when California voters recalled Gov. Gray Davis over electricity issues (supply and costs)? That was when Arnie first became governer. And it wasn't THAT long ago now was it...Praying it will happen AGAIN.

I need to go to Target, and get me a battery op Transistor Radio tomorrow. I’m about 15 miles north of San Fran. So far the local electricity remains on.
To: Chickensoup
I had that thought earlier, just like “shelter in place” training and conditioning.

If Californians can’t handle an intentional power outage how will they do if Food or Water aren’t available?

Greta Thunderbird or whatever the hell her name is must be pleased.
Maybe PG&E will keep the electricity off permanently.

Dick’s might have Transistor radios as well.
To: Openurmind
If you are correct, then one could expect power to be cut on an average of 40 days a year. Pretty rough lifestyle.

That’s true.
Though I doubt if they sell any ‘Gun-Shaped’ radios as gift items.

Here in the heart of the south Bay Area there is barely a breeze.
Right now, like right now at 8PM.
No one will listen next time, myself included.
And these are the people who we think know what the weather will be like 100 years from now?

Most of us Conservatives live in rural areas where trees can actually drop a nut that grows
