After reconvening the Senate last month, Mitch confirmed six judges that should have been confirmed in June.

There have been none since.

Strike while the iron is hot, Mitch! The way you are going, it’s the only thing you can say you have ever done in your entire life of politics.

Mitch: “We have been SO busy around here...(what was that big job again???) that we just have not had the time to hold a simple up or down vote”

I wonder how many have been reported out of committee? This is starting to look like a slow walk stall in advance of the resolution of the impeachment insanity.

The turtle has gotten many more judges through than any President ever at this point.

It is his one saving grace!

Graham needs to push those Circuit Court nominees through the committee so they can be confirmed.

I also think the blue slips should be revoked for District Court judges as well. Then a whole horde of them should be pushed through rapidly.

The Senate is in recess (actually a pro forma session) until 15 October.

There are 75 of Trump’s Judicial nominees pending confirmation in the Senate (of which 54 are pending in Lindsey Graham’s Judiciary Committee). This is INEXCUSABLE! Graham needs to no longer allow the DemocRATS to use the Blue Slip process to stop consideration of Trump’s nominees. And McConnell needs to schedule confirmation votes on nominees quicker after they’re out of the Judiciary Committee.

There are 4 District Judges scheduled for confirmation vote the week the Senate returns from recess on October 15th.

Yeah, that Mitch sure is pushing hard. Anyone buying off on that sound-byte needs to reassess.

Oh, I know they’re on recess. But I’m going to remind all daily that they’re on recess.

And even when they’re there they do very little, with their Tuesday through Thursday schedule.
