The article says that 1 in 7 males age 25 to 54 are “not employed”. That’s different from “unemployed.” The difference stems from the fact that many men in that age group are not actively seeking employment; for example, the younger ones may be in school and the older ones may be retired.
How many of those men 25-54 without jobs are disabled vets. and how many are sleeping on the sidewalks in San Francisco, L.A.?
