A federal judge has ruled one Florida city cannot ban therapists from practicing a controversial gay conversion therapy in their jurisdiction.
NBC affiliate WFLA-TV reports the judge struck down a 2017 ban imposed by the city of Tampa, ruling that the city has no authority to regulate health professionals and only the state government can do that a victory for some religious based groups....
By the way, the federal judge is wrong if they say states can ban health care folks from exercising their religious rights.
Ask anyone who supports these bans:
‘If all counseling/psychiatry/medical confidences are...confidential then how will any government snoop find out what’s being said by any patient?’
And why does the state have the authority?
Gay activists would just pose as somebody wanting therapy, then bring a recording device.
all powers to granted under this Constitution are reserved to the states.
They will send in fake undercover patients to set them up.
The state issues the professional license for a physician, nurse, psychiatrist etc to practice. The judge ruled that a city can not override the licensing by the state.

From a patient (child) that doesn’t want to be in counseling.
That is what I call real winning....for “The People”....not for politics.
Another cancerous tumor speaks out.
When the god of the people, a/k/a barrack obama occupied the White House by the demand of the people, he had all medical records and records of bank transactions computerized and sent to the appropriate Department in Washington , D.C. after each visit. As a result, a copy of your visit to the doctor's office what transpired is on some bureaucrat's computer in Washington, D.C. before you leave the office. Same with your bank and pharmacy.
I know the liberals are outraged about this therapy. But there are people who have unwanted same sex sexual attractions, who seek help to deal with that. And such therapy has helped people.
The liberals want us to be “pro choice”. Why are the liberals opposed to people having choice if they are dealing with certain sexual problems?
I’m with you, Dilbert.
