I guess I don’t understand the intricacies of the ‘Kurds’ situation. But, conservatives (not that Bill Kristol is a conservative) have as zealous protectionist view of the Kurds with the same fervor that liberals promote the ‘Palestinians’. What the hell is with all this support for the Kurds?

Yes, the Kurds have helped us in the past because we shared a common enemy.

That being said, is anyone willing to sacrifice even one American life to continue protecting them? If so, whose should be sacrificed?

I think they have a soft spot for the PKK which is the Kurdish Workers Party. That being said the Kurds seem to get the rough end of it no matter who is in power.
