I honestly have always thought the whole tax return thing was a giant nothing burger that Trump has been using to distract the left from the start. LOL
Trump has very complex finances. Should take about 5 years or so to prepare a complete presentation. Lol. I’m cool with that.
The New York prosecutors would need some level of evidence that the tax returns would provide needed information. Without such a hurdle they could indiscriminately ask for anyone’s tax returns.
Maybe the outcome of the appeal hangs on whether the appeals court thinks the New York prosecutors really need the returns.
That is a fuzzy issue.
