Really, what? I’ll give McConnell credit when due with regards to the court picks. Other than that he’s just as much a RINO as all the other guys you mentioned. Wasn’t it McConnell that turned his back on the President during one of the CRs? Yup. Hasn’t McConnell come out publicly and criticized pretty much everything the President has been doing with immigration.

Of course he’s going to dunk on impeachment. But then again, it’s a bit early for that as what we’re witnessing is illegal, out of procedure and there isn’t even an impeachment investigation going on. It’s all smoke and mirrors right now.

If McConnell were truly the leader of the Senate Republican’s, he’d gather all those that you mentioned, plus Collins, Ernst, Murkowski, Cornyn, Issackson, both Scott’s, Graham, Gardner, et al, into a room for a closed door session. And at that time, tell them the days of publicly criticizing the President on anything are over. The Republican’s in the US Senate will stand firmly, Shoulder To Shoulder with the President.

That happens, there is no stopping the President.
