Does anyone have a direct link to the Op-Ed?

Did Tucker mention any of this on his Fox show?

TIA.

"Donald Trump should not have been on the phone with a foreign head of state encouraging another country to investigate his political opponent, Joe Biden," Carlson and Patel wrote. "Some Republicans are trying, but there's no way to spin this as a good idea."

This is 100% bullsh!t. This idea that announcing that you are a presidential candidate somehow indemnifies you from any criminal investigation -- especially in a case where the key piece of evidence is the candidate bragging on video about interfering in the political/legal proceedings of another country -- is so bizarre that it isn't even worthy of discussion.

Tucker Carlson is apparently buying into the preposterous Democrat/RINO talking point that it's OK for Democrats to conspire with foreign governments to investigate Donald Trump as a sitting President (even to the point of fabricating evidence against him) ... but a Democrat CANDIDATE is somehow off-limits?

I won't make excuses for Tucker Carlson, but I've long felt that he isn't terribly bright. He made a complete ass out of himself during the Kavanaugh debacle last year when he got on the air one night and made the outlandish claim -- which would have been confirmed as verifiably false with about 20 seconds of internet research -- that Kavanaugh would not be able to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court if he wasn't confirmed by the time the next court term began.

Sorry Tucker, but what Trump legitimately questions was how deep Ukraine’s political class was in bed with the Obama administration in the production and dissemination of the Russian collusion hoax, and under it all the abuse of power that may have been used by a sitting Vice President, to get a Ukraine official removed from office, and official which had been investigating a Ukriane company with a board of directors that included Joe Biden’s son while Biden was the Vice President.

ALL of those things ARE pertinent to ongoing U.S.-Ukraine relationship - is the political collusions between Ukraine officials with the Democratic party over, or not.

So, Joe Biden qualifies for a “Get out of Jail” card because he’s running a losing campaign?

I’ll remember that if I’m ever being investigated.

Why is it inappropriate?

The fact that Biden is a political opponent therefore makes his quid pro quo demands to Ukraine as VP immune from investigation?

If so, that makes him ABOVE THE LAW!!

Tucker Carlson’s statement makes no sense. The President is the chief law enforcement officer of the land. Because of his position, he must root out corruption.

This isn’t even a “witch hunt”, there is evidence that Joe Biden used American foreign aid as leverage to prevent his son from being investigated. Are we just going to let the law ignore this just because he is a candidate for President?

I don’t think so.

Fox News is morphing into Faux News thanks to Murdoch’s liberal sons...oh yeah and traitor Paul Ryan now on Fox’s board of directors encouraging them to drop positive coverage of Pres. Trump.

Former V.P. Biden admitted on video of threatening to withhold federal money to the Ukraine, if the President of the Ukraine didn’t fire the prosecutor who was investigating the company his own son had made millions from, for a job he wasn’t qualified for. So, if President Trump has knowledge of a possible crime having been committed based on the personal videotaped comments by a former V.P., and failed to act on what appeared to be credible corruption allegations against that former V.P., it would be tantamount to dereliction of duty. By ignoring it, Trump would basically be condoning it, which is something the Democrats and the media have been doing all along.

Brian Kilmeade said the exact same thing and attacked the President on his radio show on Thursday morning.

Seems like a Fox News talking point all of a sudden.

Paul Ryan is no on the board there and they want to keep their jobs.

Here’s a clip from Tucker’s show, last night. I don’t see him attacking POTUS’ call w/Ukraine...in fact, he and this guest discuss how the Russia hoax originated w/Intelligence community...

If anyone cares to give a listen, here’s a link to Tucker’s entire show, from last night, where he extensively covers impeachment/dossiers/whistleblowers, etc....

What don’t you read Tucker Carlson’s Op-Ed rather than accept the biased opinion of a CNN operative?

If CNN didn’t take this out of context as they do often, then Tucker’s job and future is being squeezed by the machine.

Anti-Trump Tucker’s’ “There's no way to spin this” comment is a spin.

The Constitution’s 12th Amendment (12A) electoral process says nothing about presidential candidates nominated by the likewise constitutionally undefined political parties.

And even if 12A did include such language, Biden has not been nominated as an official political candidate. He’s a candidate to be a candidate.
