Police say a beer vendor used a personal card reader to charge a fan more than $700 for two beers at a Miami Dolphins football game.
An arrest affidavit says 33-year-old Nathaniel Collier faces charges of grand theft and possession of a skimming device. He was fired Sunday by the company that employees vendors at Hard Rock Stadium.

On the other hand, perhaps anyone who is willing to sit through such an ordeal should get FREE beers AND a $700 cash payment from the team.
LOLOL As a Redskins fan, I cannnot help but to agree. The only thing worse than being a masochist is being a gullible masochist.
I wonder if it’s the same guy who charged a little old lady 25,000 dollars to change her heating thermostat some years back.
I had a stupid dumbass contractor come to my house to lookk at a heater and one of them said “I think you need a new wall thermostat unit”
I asked how much and they both looked at each other and the one said “$85... plus installation”
I said “you mean $150 for a unit I can buy for $20 buck and install in 3 minutes?”
I threw them bass turds right out.
+1
LOL. If it was -25F or +100F it would have been considerably more. I know them dudes, I used to sell to them.
Did the hops come from platinum or what?
Without knowing the size of the beers it’s hard to pass judgement.

If you’re a Dolphins fan, start with a 55 gallon drum!
Somewhere between a pony keg and a tanker truck, and larger that a 55 gallon drum...
If it's Miller Lite, more toward the tanker truck.
> Beer Vendor Fired After Charging Dolphins Fan $724 for Beer <
Lets not be too quick to judge. Maybe it was a large beer. At a stadium those things can be quite pricy.
Why am I not surprised?
I’m thinking at least he sold him a beer.
When the Nashville Predators (hockey) went to Detroit for the playoffs, Detroit would not sell predator fans a catfish at all, because Predator fans had a tradition of throwing catfish onto the ice during playoffs.
But one Predator fan managed to bring a catfish from Nashville and snuck it in to the game. He was charged with possessing an instrument of crime among other charges. They dropped the charges after a couple of days.
I had an instrument of crime sandwich just last week.
Hockey in Nashville is a crime.
And what about the guy who used a card instead of cash to buy a couple of beers from a vendor using a "personal card reader"?
Was that smart?
...and you thought the ticket prices were outrageous!
Haven’t Dolphins fans suffered enough this year?

I have never considered watching any Dolphins other than the ones I used to watch from the deck of the USS Saratoga but I think anyone who watches NASCAR racing should be paid for his time and paid well. To sit on a blazing hot day and watch cars go around in a circle while raising a horrendous noise is not something I would do willingly. When I think of the money some spend and the time they give over to travel just to see these races I just don’t get it. I have heard people talk about camping for a week in an open field just to watch a race. It sounds about as attractive as paying a gang of thugs to beat me up and send me to intensive care.
