Sales have been driven by a combination of pricing and, in the case of embattled Huawei, patriotic purchasing decisions. It is not so much patriotism, as a desire to not have hostile spyware built into the phone.

i suspect this article is total hogwash and that Samsung is really moving out of china for two reasons:
1. they’re tired of their technology be stolen
2. they don’t want U.S. tariffs on their products
