No one is voting for Bernier, who probably doesn’t believe a single anti-immigrant word he says. He attacked an opponent for supporting Trump during the Conservative party leadership election and only formed his own party because he is an egomaniac sore loser. Unfortunately Canada has an F ton of immigrants, Harper never would have one without getting their votes.

And if it’s abortion you’re concerned with, it’s not really an issue in Canada, not on the table, expecting a pro-life Parliament is not realistic. And he (Bernier) is pro-choice anyway.

Some shrewd social conservative really needs to try DJ's suggestion of using the "I'm PERSONALLY pro-life, BUT..." tactic in reverse and run as as avowedly pro-abortion candidate in the RAT primary, then continually vote pro-life on EVERY bill while in office because "I have no business trying to force my PERSONAL beliefs about abortion on the rest of the country..."

I would LOVE seeing leftist grit their teeth over that one.

We get all the time on our side with pro-abortion candidates PRETENDING to be "personally pro-life" during the campaign because it polls better with conservative voters.

The closest I've seen is some pro-life Crisis Pregnancy Center named themselves "Woman's Choice Services" and put out ads hinting that they were offering abortion services. Leftists went ballistic at that one. :-)
