A former Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party was found to have $32 billion dollars in cash in his basement and 13 tons of gold.
The ChiComs fund it.
That guy (the 13 tons of gold idiot) was a ‘retired’ mayor for the city. From what I read, he’d been around for 20 years, and people suggest that if you wanted to fast-track the building of a structure (hotel, or whatever)....you had to grease this guy’s hand.
His screw-up was upon retirement, he should have hired some guy to remove that gold and cash (32 billion dollars in cash worth they say) from the house, and quickly flew the money to the Philippines or Vietnam. I think as the ‘gifts’ kept coming, he just didn’t grasp the enormous size of the stash, or the problems in keeping this a secret.
According to news....he’ll get a quick court case, and then be executed in the next two or three months.
