Although the Nexplanon implant was inserted into her daughter’s body without Lambert’s knowledge, a doctor could not remove it without Lambert’s consent.

A nurse can botch the implantation with no more than the daughter’s permission.

But to remove the damaging devise a doctor must have the parent’s permission.
