I was young, dumb and too scared to wiz after they started the fire and turned the lights off.
It was an impressive thing to a teenager, was it not? All that fire in such a small space...:)
Of course, most 18 year old men just love fire...don’t know why that is, but when you have to walk towards it, well...
it is probably more like the the retort of King George III when he read of George Washington’s comment in an account of the French and Indian War where Washington said: “I heard the bullets whistle and, believe me, there is something charming in the sound!”
When King George II read the account in a London paper, he is said to have exclaimed “By God, he would not think bullets charming if he had been used to hear many.”
