A source in Texas told me that George P. Bush, currently the states land commissioner, already is running a quiet campaign for lieutenant governor. His people would not exactly confirm that, but what they did say was, in a sense, more interesting: Who says its lieutenant governor?
While he wouldnt challenge current Governor Abbott or Lieutenant Governor Patrick, if an opening presents itself he would absolutely consider serving Texans in a higher role. When that moment arises, hes ready, said adviser J. R. Hernandez.
George P. Bush is the son of the former Florida governor and the nephew of the former Texas governor and president. He was born in Houston and is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law.

Where’s that Tracy Morgan no gif at?
STAY OUT THE BUSHES!
If he is the nominee I’ll vote for Kinky Freedman
Of course National Review would write an article about another Bush as if they were anyone at all.
While I agree in general with no more Bushes didnt this guy support Trump? Or is that another Bush.
Lord, deliver us from the entitled ones...
....with real regret, I voted for George twice for Gov and twice for Preident and H.W. twice for President. Like Hillary, I wish they would disappear into the woodwork. George W. was like a back hoe operator flying a 747 as President.
“Here Comes Bush . . . ? [George P. Bush]”
No. No, no and no.
“Lord, deliver us from the entitled ones...”
Remember the Alamo!
Ineligible to be President.
His mother was still a Mexican national when he was born, so he was born a Mexican national.
NO MORE BUSHES!
I believe history will show that W.’s Presidency was one of the great pivot points in American history. He could have attempted to roll back the insanity of that Clinton years but chose not too. Generations of Americans will pay the price for W.’s love of progressive policy.
He only did that because he knew his political career would be over if he acted the ass like his dad and uncle.
Oh, HELL NO!!!!!
We know who the “conservative” Bush family really are,
We’re done with gentrified NWO Globalist evil,
No more dynasties!
I seem to remember he was 100 percent focused on helping his father get the presidential nomination and wasn't even in Texas for quite a while.
His “political career” should have been still-born.
