Of all the places to argue that only the government should be trusted with guns, Beto O'Rourke picked…Kent State University.
Kent State is, of course, the location of the infamous 1970 shooting that left four students dead and nine others injured. The shots were fired not by private citizens but by members of the Ohio National Guard, who shot at a crowd protesting America's involvement in the Vietnam War.
Invoking armed agents of the state gunning down unarmed civilians is an interesting way to argue that Americans would be better off if the government forcefully disarmed private citizens. But hey, I guess that's why we keep being told Beto's an "unconventional" candidate.

He’s got this game figured out. He’s had exposure, he’s done his carnival barker schtick for the masses. Beto will run for some other elected office because the former burglar, Robert O’Rourke isn’t interested in doing any real work. And he knows the public is just dumb enough to elect him to some office.
I wouldn’t trust Beto with a drivers license,never mind the right to control my Constitutional Rights.
Especially my Second Amendment Rights.

The fact is, Beto and his ilk have no problem with guns *only* in the hands of the government— because they also intend to be in complete control of the government.
Notice— Beto & co are NOT expressing any solidarity with the *black clad* protesters in Hong Kong who are being shot down by the Chicom government.
That’s because those protesters are ideologically opposite of 1970’s Kent State protesters and today’s Antifa.
