JAMA: "This decision to publish this article was not easy. Given the nature of the findings and their potential implications, we subjected it to additional scrutiny for its methods and the presentation of its findings. The mission of the journal is to ensure that child health is optimized by bringing the best available evidence to the fore. Publishing it serves as testament to the fact that JAMA Pediatrics is committed to disseminating the best science based entirely on the rigor of the methods and the soundness of the hypotheses tested, regardless of how contentious the results may be."

Flouride was one of the original conspiracy theories around the same time as the conspiracy theory that the State Department was full of communists.

If one wanted to be conspiratorial, one would look at the difference in how flouride affects girls vs boys and wonder if that wasn’t the point all along. Push fluoride use to lower the IQ of males. Since women are more easily swayed by emotional appeals, if we take men out of the decision making process by lowering their collective IQs over time we create a more easily controlled society. Just sayin’.

Are the kids stupid because of flouride or because of public school’s indoctrination vs education approach?

Gee whiz, this may explain why Brits are so much smarter and cultured than us deplorable rubes, but they have horrible teeth.

IMHO water fluoridation is a CLASSIC example of Liberals’ belief that “we have to do all of the thinking for you because you’re too STOOOOOPID to do it for yourselves”.

The value of fluoride in dental health has been proven beyond question. It should be applied topically via toothpastes and application by dentists.

But our bettors apparently don’t trust us to take care of that. So they slip it into the water supply, where, taken internally, day after day, it does cause some disturbing problems.

If they could find a way to slip effective birth control into water supplies they would.

“Yep, well they’re all dumb as soup but they have great teeth.”

We have had fluoridated water since the 60’s. Look what’s been invented since. Unintelligent folks don’t do that.

Kids who are taught bs instead of a traditional education WILL be “dumber”.

Sodium Fluoride is a waste product. It is not the natural fluoride compound that is part of microcrystalline hydroxyapatite.

Regardless of the other problems, toxic halogens interfere with natural iodine absorption - as chlorine and bromides.
