Zuckerberg, in leaked audio, vows to 'fight' efforts to break up Facebook if Warren wins White House

During an internal meeting at Facebook this summer, CEO Mark Zuckerberg vowed to “fight” any efforts to break up his company, according to audio leaked by The Verge.

When an employee asked Zuckerberg about the rise of presidential candidates like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who has proposed breaking up Big Tech, the tech executive said he was not afraid of a “legal challenge,” according to a transcript of the leaked audio.

“I mean, if she gets elected president, then I would bet that we will have a legal challenge, and I would bet that we will win the legal challenge,” Zuckerberg said.

“And does that still suck for us?” he added. “Yeah. I mean, I don’t want to have a major lawsuit against our own government. ... But look, at the end of the day, if someone’s going to try to threaten something that existential, you go to the mat and you fight.”

In the two hours of leaked audio from a pair of employee meetings obtained by The Verge, Zuckerberg also spoke candidly about the complications around Facebook’s new digital currency, Libra, as well as why he believes it’s important for the company to work with the U.S. government to put in place some regulations.

Zuck can support Pocahontas because he knows he has enough money he can just buy Congress and outflank her. Look for Big Tech to start investing more in red states. They are already doing that in Utah and it’s paying huge political dividends.

It there had been any doubt, Warren’s proposal to break up Facebook should prove that Warren is a Socialist.

She and her ilk must be stopped.

Not sure right now.

It's gonna be her, Biden or Bernie.

UNLESS, Michelle steps in.

The longer that Facebook is around and develops more along the line of a Frankenstein-like creature....the more worry people should have on both sides of the aisle.

I am kinda wondering just how much Facebook will broke up and if it ends being five to seven companies, with Zuckerberg only able to manage one of them.

I think that Hillary Clinton, after the smoke clears will be the nominee. She has the organization. She has the armies of devoted worshipers in high places. She has the media. She has the assassins that took care of Seth Rich and Jerry Epstein to discourage and solve any problems that ma arise. She has the backing of the big money donors. Buck may or may not still be among them, but if not, someone will take his place. Personally, I wish she would fall over dead but I know that will not happen. She will still be living at the Great White Throne Judgment. She is too wicked to die.

If history tells us anything, we should leave these big tech companies alone, they will not be broken up, if that were attempted, the question is, who decides how the companies would be broken up ??

The US Congress ?? who would trust them to efficiently break up a company who they have no idea how it operates..

Federal Judges ?? Equally a bad idea, most of these Judges can barely send email, who would have confidence they could break up Amazon, Facebook, etc....

History has shown us that eventually these companies get so big and begin to operate against their customers and for their own political beliefs that new technology will emerge that overtakes these companies...

When I started in the Computer Industry in 1981, IBM has 90% of the market and was involved in a long running court case with the Federal Government, that case eventually was dropped because technology changed and IBM became just another company...

The same thing happened with Microsoft....

It will happen to Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc....they will falter at some point...

However Facebook gets SMASHED is fine with me.

Zuckerberg et al needs to spend all of their time defending against Facebook's demise instead of doing evil things.

He's proven that he's a true enemy of his host country. Fk his life and his company.

She’s lying. She won’t do anything about big tech. It’s the Marxist’s (Democrats) most poweful censorship and propaganda tool.

Possibly for Oprah.

She does have a name. She has run a business.

But it'd be way over her head though.
