Even on its own terms, the media’s Get Trump project has proved a monumental failure. If the blob of blue-checkmark Twitterati wanted to help President Trump portray the latest impeachment push as a partisan witch hunt, they couldn’t have done a better job than they are now.
Consider the latest example: On Sunday, CBS’ venerable “60 Minutes” program reported on Twitter that “the government whistleblower who set off the impeachment inquiry of President Trump is under federal protection because they fear for their safety.” The explosive news seemed to vindicate his opponents’ darkest fantasies about the president: Of course Trump would physically threaten a whistleblower, much as the Corleone family would deal with a snitch.
“The whistleblower is being protected from the executive branch of his or her own government,” fretted Aaron Rupar of Vox. “That’s not quite right,” The Atlantic’s David Frum chimed in. “The whistleblower is also at risk from the private citizen supporters the president incites to violence.”

What’s with all the faith in our fellow citizens around here all of a sudden?
D’s may or may not be split 50/50 on whether to impeach or not. The poll may be a lie.
It may not.
But HOW MANY people that are not quite as politically aware as us are going to hear that the “whistle blower” needs protection from Trump AND us?
and not be aghast because they don’t know any better.
This is 1930s Germany or a reasonable facsimile.
Let’s not wait until the VERY last minute guys.
Not yet.
But not a whole lot longer either can we stay away from DC.

It’s 2:40 a.m. and I am sleepless in , listening to Eric and Jerry on Red Eye radio out of the D-FW area. The guys are on fire tonight.
They just played a new short ad by the Trump campaign committee regarding the Ukraine phone call, Biden bragging about greeting the Ukraine prosecutor fired, etc. It includes part of the audio with Joe acting like he’s Superman taking on the Ukrainian authorities and threatening to withhold all the financial aid to them unless they do as Uncle Joe asks.
This is typical Donald Trump - go on the offensive, and be succinct about proving the lies from the Democrats. 2020 will be an interesting year. Democrat heads will explode.

Democrat politicians and media companies are driving this. Why would they stop if there are no consequences? At this rate they’ll get what they are screaming for. God help us if they do.
The people in charge of msm news organizations are all liars. They are dishonest people intentionally lying for political gain and must all be purged from any position of power. There is no way a society can survive in the face of such a steady flow of uncontested deceit from major media. Charge them all with conspiracy to commit treason and lock them up.
The best way to treat the media is with total contempt and disrespect. When someone says something stupid about the president I ask them if they got their information from the corrupt and bias media. They can’t defend the dishonest media because they know it’s full of liars. I do the same thing when talking about democrats.
Sounds like something socialist dictator Maduro has done in Venezuela to get rid of the media opposition.
We can't even get the DOJ to charge the real conspirators of this coup attempt against Trump, much less arrested, tried and convicted and punished.
Good luck with your fantasy about the liberal media elites.
