Thornton is a cross-border capital intermediary whose purpose is to facilitate the strategic vision of its clients by providing advisory services and deal structuring expertise. Founded by Michael Lin and James Bulger; Thornton positioned itself as a bridge between the East and the West by combining its Western business experience with its unique Chinese local market insight and network. Additionally, as an Advisory Council member of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation, Thornton has been a key node in the effort to promote business cooperation between Greater China and the US.
Using this model Thornton has been able to build a robust business portfolio that has included representing clients in the infrastructure, financial services, technology, healthcare, TMT, agriculture, energy resources and the mining sectors in a variety of different international transactions.
