The day after 0 was elected our CD's dropped to .05. Even under GWB they were 5%. Moved as much as we could to annuities. Put everything into Trust funds to tie the money up. Not that we are rich just comfortable. We pre paid funerals and paid off the new house and a new car in the last 5 yrs. Infested some in Online banking and have done fairly well interest wise since Trump was elected.

We can't depend on SS or his Navy Pension for decent COLA raises.
