Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) on Sunday criticized President Trump for quoting a pastor saying impeachment could trigger a "Civil War-like fracture" in the country.
"I have visited nations ravaged by civil war," Kinzinger tweeted.
"I have never imagined such a quote to be repeated by a President. This is beyond repugnant."

The rare rebuke from a Republican member of Congress came in response to Trump tweeting a quote from Pastor Robert Jeffress on Fox News.

It’s hard to remember when the nation was so divided over the President as leader since Abraham Lincoln (except for FDR; the war saved him), But now the free-loading Democrats have most of the plantation-acclimated people on their side.

Kinzinger needs to apologize and resign. Trump wasn’t talking about armed civil war and it is dangerous and incendiary to make such an accusation. Kinzinger is no better than the Democrats.
My concern is that here was have a member of Congress completely oblivious to the mood of the citizens. Instead of lecturing President Trump, he should be working to quench the fire, not throw gasoline on it.
So, Kinzinger and Amodei have outed themselves. Both should be stripped of committee assignments, asked to resign from Republican party and their seats in Congress. They are traitors.

It was a simple observation, Rep. Kinzinger, and more accurate than you know.
And another thing, if you stand by and do nothing while this coup is going on then you’re as guilty as the conspirators. There will be consequences.
I suggest this representative or whatever he or it is, I suggest the focus be on the ‘repugnant’ nature of the Democrats behavior, especially the false transcript reading of a repugnant person with the name of Schiff.
I suggest the representative focus on characters such as this Schiff and not the President who has suffered now three years of egregious, warrantless abuse.
It has shaped up to be an amazing repeat of history. A president duly elected, despised by democrats and some of his onw party, an administration filled with bureaucrats working against him, stands up to the press and takes them on in a civil war they started. Is this 1860 or 2019? It is both, unfortunately. Democrats will lose again, and this time no quarter or forgiveness will be forthcoming.
