Carl Bernstein: Sources say Barr preparing to deliver 'evidence' of a 'deep state conspiracy'

Veteran investigative journalist Carl Bernstein said his sources are telling him that Attorney General William Barr is preparing to push a "deep state" conspiracy to protect President Trump.

During an appearance Thursday on CNN, the famed Watergate sleuth reacted to controversy about an intelligence community whistleblower who filed a complaint alleging Trump improperly leveraged military aid to encourage Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

I wish it were true, but burstien does not know crap. And barr has done nothing on investigating any of this. There is not even a rumor of a grand jury being empaneled. I'm sticking with what I know. This is a fight that must be had if we have any hope of draining the swamp. Trump is the only one on our side putting everything on the line in this fight.

Carl Bernstein reported this on CNN as though this is something completely new and something being cooked up to distract from Trump’s “corruption” - of course to CNN’s viewers it certainly is since they have intentionally not reported any information to its viewers (which David Gergen acknowledged was being done purposely when they were forced to address it since they were showing the Mueller hearings live). Bernstein’s “sources” could be those who have been appearing on Fox News for the past two years with direct knowledge of what is going on and numerous articles from John Solomon at The Hill. But he is presenting it to the CNN audience, and no doubt the rest of the media will follow the lead, that this massive scandal is something that was cooked up as political spin to “protect Trump” from the Ukraine impeachment saga. It is extraordinary how creative the media can be in propagating their lies to the public.

The only guarantee of justice for those who engaged in this corruption is for President Trump to be re-elected (and by extension his party winning down ballot, even though many of them don’t deserve it). Even if they were all sent to jail, they will have won if Trump loses.

I can see the media spinning any charges or indictments as being President Trump turning the country into a dictatorship by jailing his political detractors and making them “political prisoners.” This strategy by Carl Bernstein appears to be going along those lines. Even though this investigation has been well known for some time, he is acting like it has just been revealed to him by “sources” and it was previously unknown, so when the report comes out or any charges, he can state to his CNN audience his sources were correct and that the Barr/Trump conspiracy he feared is being carried out.

DOJ needs to get on this very quickly. This is the reason why Trump is under full on assault. If the indictments against these crooked people don’t come soon then Trump is going to have a hard time surviving. The bad guys want to take out Trump and stop the wheels of justice from turning.

The problem now is that when the indictments come(hopefully) then the crooks(including the media) are going to switch to the claiming retaliation. This is all part of their plan to escape.

The democrats are covering for something. This impeachment hearings without evidence screams of desperation.

• FISA abuse report is due.
• That report might have more than just FISA abuse.
• Perhaps Ukraine was able to obtain the DNC server and there is incriminating evidence on it.
• That schiff was talking about Ukraine a month ago, and that the whistle blower form was changed to allow hearsay indicates widespread coordination.
• Uranium One is still out there.
• Clinton Email is still out there.
• Russia Hoax is still out there.
• McCabe Indictment is still out there.

  Whistleblower hearsay needs to be stopped, they will have whistleblowers claiming wrong doing every time they just want to know or disrupt something.
