This is a display of toxic femininity at the core of social justice. If you love me, you’ll do everything I want. If you don’t, I will shame, nag and shun you until you do. Continue to disobey me, and I will hate you and hurt you to protect those who do love me.
One of Dr. Jordan Peterson’s proteges studies the psychological profile of the social justice warrior. They are less intelligent (lower verbal skills) than the average liberal. This is associated with greater tendencies to violence in the population, since you can’t argue your way out. They are also far more likely to be mentally ill - literally. They are several times more likely to have a diagnosed anxiety disorder and to have a family member with a formal diagnosis of a mental disorder.
The social justice cause would attract them. It says whoever is the most irrational / insane is morally correct. It endorses whatever delusion you have. It enables the lynch mob that some of these types want to feel empowered. It gives adrenaline addicts an outlet and support system. And when you’re as anxious as Greta, latching onto that environmentalist or equity cause gives you a sense of purpose and a reason to attack everyone else - backed up by your “peeps”.
She’s already diagnosed. Per her mother’s book, she was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety and autism/Asperger before the age of 10. Reinforcing the diagnosis is the fact that her non-famous sister has been diagnosed with Aspbergers and attention deficit disorder.
