The 'rats are overthrowing our govt and so far I see no push back. Schiff has been put in charge of the impeachment proceedings; they claim that an impeachment inquiry is now in effect which gives them special powers... This appears to be a sham.
Republican representative Doug Collins has said, “If they really want to do this, they have to bring impeachment to the floor,” he said, pointing to rules that call for the full House to vote on approving an impeachment investigation. “This is simply a show, a travesty, and frankly they should be ashamed.”
Now they have gone one step further - the Speaker of the House can declare an impeachment inquiry. According to the New York intelligencer of Sept 9: As to the requirements of House rules — well, that’s debatable. Those rules provide a procedure for authorization of impeachment hearings, but it’s entirely unclear that they are required... We might append: it’s entirely unclear that they are required if the Democraps are in charge of the House.
Already the Dems are claiming special powers to compel Sec State Mike Pompeo to produce documents. Will the GOP challenge in the courts? ...or will they continue to look for where they left their coffee cups?
