You were rooting for Hussein?

“You were rooting for Hussein?”

Republican Party had to be cleansed of the Bush-McCain-Romney neocon crap. Romney had to lose for that to happen, paving the way for something new - Trump. That’s why the Bushies and Romneyites hate Bush so much.

So yes, I was rooting for Obama to beat the stuffings out of Romney.

Tell us all Ben Lurkin why you desire to put Fabian Socialists in charge of the Republican Party.

You just said that outright.

I want to hear why you think that it’s important to have globalists in charge of both major American parties instead of trying to preserve at least one for American nationalists.

This has been on my mind for a while. I don't mean to sound preachy, but this is how I am thinking.

Looking back on it, both McCain and Romney have shown they would have been worse than Obama. They are typical corporate owned uni-party politicians, who are far more skilled than Obama. Obama ruled by regulation, executive order, and ignoring congress (with their silence) when it suited him. His policies are slowly getting undone. McCain and Romney would have passed real laws and treaties.

Romney passed Massachusetts state health, the basis for the ACA. He would not have opposed the ACA. McCain would have made a mess of escalating conflicts, just as he did with Syria. Assad was not much of a threat and was being handled by Israel, no doubt with our help. McCain helped trigger the Syrian civil war, did nothing while Obama let Biden mismanage it, create the Syrian immigration crisis, and almost letting ISIL take over.

We like to think of elections as between Democrat and Republican, which side is right or wrong, or what the future will bring. Sometimes voters, meaning all of us, just get stuck choosing the lesser evil. Sometimes we figure this out years after the fact.

I voted for both McCain and Romney. Now I'm thinking the voters made the right choice in Obama, because in the long run he caused less harm than either McCain or Romney would have.

If Mittens had won then there would be a dem in the whitehut right now and not Trump, AND Mittens would have been as bad as Obama.

It was a strategic move to not vote for Mittens.
