Leo Frank was NOT a "wealthy Jew", but he had married the daughter of a wealthy Jewish family, from Atlanta. He was the superintendent of a pencil factory...not exactly an high paying job.
The 13 year old girl, who worked in the pencil factory, was murdered in 1913. The most probable murderer was the factory's black janitor. But this was Georgia and a Jew from North of the Mason-Dixon line ( New York ), back then, was far more of an object of hatred, than the black man; though that black man was!
There actually WAS a witness, who had seen the black man carrying Mary's body, but his family told him to keep his mouth shut, after he had told them what he had seen. And with a lot of guilt, the witness HAD, over the ensuing years, told others, outside of his family, AFTER Frank had been lynched, the truth.
There have been at least one movie and two T.V. series about this terrible double crime, over the years and IIRC a book too.
These facts are out there and it's a horror story that people should know.

I’ve read all this before. The evidence points to Leo most likely being guilty. Sure 100 years later with no direct evidence it’s hard to say either way but I think the jury made the right choice.

It sort of reminds me of the elitism that both condemns people in the North of England (No brexit for you), the north of Norway (You do not know how to fish) and in the north East of Australia.
