Most of the Comments on your September 2019 thread scoffed at or mocked the idea that the OK hand gesture indicates white supremacy.
I discovered your “OK” thread while I was researching the Proud Boys today. The photo I posted of five Proud Boys making the OK sign was front and center on their website.
Apparently, the Boys and Whoopi coincidentally met on a Sarasota beach - no TV interview that I know about.
Today - someone at Free Republic posted a vanity about joining the Proud Boys, and he was cheered on by more than 20 Comments.
I admit to knowing almost nothing about the Proud Boys, but I thought the post and the many enthusiastic Comments were disturbing.
The founder of Proud Boys, Gavin McInnes, has said some disturbing things about Jews and Israel.
As a lifelong friend of Israel and the Jewish people, I am not pleased about seeing Proud Boy vanities at Free Republic.
All I know about Proud Boys is that they were involved in a street brawl in Manhattan and that the leftards have taken to calling them Nazis, which has been done to death. If anything, a leftard calling someone a Nazi makes me inclined to be skeptical of the accusation. I’ve also looked at their web site, and they’re supposedly proud of Western Civilization and being part of it. That itself sounds OK.
But I’ll definitely google Gavin McInnes to find out the goods on him.
They have lost all credibility.
Serendipitously, your post about Whoopi and the Proud Boys immediately followed on my pings a post about having the Democrat candidates’ debate on The View, and I mistook it for a continuation of the other thread. Strange.
