Yep they talk about our founding fathers and our constitution, while at the same time wanting to get rid of the Electoral College

...not defending the United States against a foreign attack...

Open border advocacy is impeachable?

Just attempting to provide cover for their nonsense...

They know this is a non starter...

But its what their readership (or a big part of it wants) so they have to tell them what they want to hear.

So the slimes thinks Congress elects the president. They’ll change their mind if the Congress is Republicans.

He’s right.

A POTUS can be impeached and removed for any reason the US Congress has the votes for.

It’s a political act, not a legal one.

POTUS is, literally, above the law and Congress is the only check.

Constitution. Read it.

One thing we can all do is where ever CNN is on a public TV ask to have it changed.

I like a good "CNN Sucks" chant at any large venue or gathering whether they are there or not.

Not yet. As you can see Trump is a one MAN army. I loved his news conference yesterday when he called out those assembled to hear and get a few questions in:-)

The author is talking “recall” not “impeachment”. There is a difference. “Recall” is not part of the Constitution.

He got into by the majority of the people of the various 50 states, in accordance with the Constitution of the United States, who voted for him.

You remove him without their support, you face their wrath, and rightfully so.

It’s an elitist, political thing to remove the president for non-crimes, and they will have to reap the whirlwind they sow.

I will not obey a country’s so-called government who removes MY president.

They must want SCOTUS to decide.

NY Times Op Ed: Trump Doesn’t Need To Commit A Crime To Be Kicked Out Of Office

Apparently NYT does not have to deal with any form of the truth to be called a "news service."

Oh, okay.

Go ahead and overturn the election then.

We won’t mind.

I promise.

"Mr. Trump’s administration tried to hide the full whistle-blower complaint by attempting an end-around a federal law that requires that the full report be sent to Congress."

When Mr. Katyal decided to lie that early in his article the rest of what he has to say is probably equally untrue.

The DOJ analysis of the legal requirements for sending an intelligence whistleblower report to Congress is well grounded in the law. There is no requirement to send what amounts to a complaint about the President's activities to Congress. The President was and is not involved in intelligence activities under the definitions used in the law.

I would like to see Trump give a prime-time address on this matter so he can clearly and without media obstruction the truth about this story. Right now, the dems are controlling the narrative, and he needs to seize it from them.

“No they didn’t.”

Bill

It’s not often you and I disagree.

But “and other High Crimes and Misdemeanors” means whatever Congress says it means. As long as they have the votes.

There is no legal recourse.

And the term was left undefined to allow for behaviors that are not illegal according to US Code.

Only Treason and Bribery are specified.

Article II Section IV

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

I don't see a "just because" reason listed there.

So sad when a major rag lies through their teeth.
