READ: The declassified whistleblower complaint
The Hill ^ | 09/26/19 | Staff

Posted on 09/26/2019 6:03:21 AM PDT by yesthatjallen

The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released a declassified version of a whistleblower complaint detailing allegations about President Trump's contacts with Ukraine's president.

Congress was originally denied access to the whistleblower complaint, the topic of which leaked earlier this week.

The complaint raises concerns about a July 25th phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky where they discussed Vice President Joe Biden and his son, as well as alleged "efforts to restrict access to records related to the call."

“The public has a right to see the complaint and what it reveals," Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said on releasing the document.

And one of our local news stations has in bold letters: "Breaking! House releases redacted version.......!!"

Even the useless news outlets staffed with journalists who are still in middle school are ....... useless.

My guess the whistleblower is someone in the state department, maybe even the former Ukrainian ambassador who was recalled.

The one thing that I wish the President would have done would be to release the transcript after the complaint.

It’s pretty obvious here that the entirety of the complaint boils down to three things:

1. I was told about a phone call, but I didn’t actually hear it.

2. I don’t like where the transcript was stored.

3. Orange man bad.

The transcript refutes all of the hearsay and innuendo on 1. It’s pretty obvious that the person who wrote this didn’t hear the call, was relying on second hand information, and they filled in the gaps.

The media has been lying about the order of events in the phone call, and they purposefully have tried to twist his words out of context.

For example, the media tries to insist that the “favor” that was asked had something to do with the Bidens, when in reality it was about the DNC Crowdstrike server. That part of the conversation took place earlier, before the President of the Ukraine brought up the prosecutor.

There was certainly no evidence of a quid pro quo, like the media has been insinuating.

The transcript absolutely and utterly destroys the complaint.

The President should have let the media (which was clearly relying on this complaint in the reporting) hang themselves some more before releasing the transcript. By releasing the transcript first, stupid people (there are some on this board) somehow believe that the complaint (which is entirely hearsay) is more important solely because the complaint was released to the public after the transcript.

They aren’t able to put together that the transcript destroys the hearsay in the complaint.

He’s “concerned” but not enough to stand up, identify himself, and publicly defend his assertions. A supposed “patriot” who hides behind the protection of anonymity.

Actually, this letter looks to me like a collaborative effort involving several persons. Another cabal in the making.

As a side note, while Barr is blowing his bagpipes the erstwhile integrity of our government and our political stability continues to spiral downward. His lethargy and failure to expose malfeasance is only encouraging more seditious activity. When there’s no punishment, expect more criminality.

Including the signature. Where’s that, Congressman?

Um, he’s sick. My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.

The letter tells me that there are a whole lot of leakers spreading information (whether true or untrue) around to all their buddies. The Intel Agencies have continued surveillance of President Trump.

My local ABC outlet is no better. They open the release of the transcript as the Trump “version” of the phone call.

“I was not a direct witness to most of the events described.”

Hearsay.

Political attack by government worker who despises the party and leader of the administration.

This is a biased witness at best and at least an operative for the democrats.

Further thinking about this, while it is hearsay, it now gives the democrats so-called impeachment inquiry a witness list to grill.

Any “witnesses”, “intelligence managers” or “unnamed White House officials” can now be subpoenaed and directed to talk.

In other words—a fishing expedition to find dirt.

The only difference between this and the Mueller investigation is the can’t use a Grand Jury to jail people they don’t like on bogus charges.
