No....The whistleblower is just the courier. What he submitted was a handoff.

I still suspect Comey who JUST changed his mind on impeachment.....and said it should be a go. I'll find the article. I think it's telling.

Very plausible.

Since Sue Gordon is a Brennanite, I suspect the unholy trinity (Comey, Brennan and Clapper) are all in on it.... up to their necks.

Here is video of Adam Schiff having been caught and called out for falsifying the President's quotes. Not my Twitter account.

BTW, this goof by this goof is RAPIDLY becoming the #NARRATIVE takeaway from today's banana court.

If the whistle-blower is Gordon, then she certainly has the motive to go after POTUS Trump: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_M._Gordon

Also disappointed the Reps appear to have left the room.

They should have stayed and supported this guy by their presence...

Saw Nunes come back to close and support him. I think the DNI head knows who is playing theater and who respects what he did, and was required to do....

Dems are going for the whole enchilada. Trump, Barr etc....

2. Trump wanted another head of state to investigate a possible crime that is subject to US jurisdiction.

How are actions occurring within the Ukraine not Ukraine jurisdiction?

If Americans traveled to the Ukraine to meet with Ukraine officials, and the conversations occurred within the Ukraine, wouldn't it be expected that the Ukrainian legal process would be the avenue to get the details of what happened?

If Crowdstrike has operations within the Ukraine, shouldn't Ukraine investigators investigate this? If Hunter Biden was colluding with Ukraine business leaders inside the Ukraine to launder money, shouldn't Ukraine investigators investigate this?

Hmmmm, I didn’t see it that way. Number one....he pushed over and over that the Dems are doing NOTHING but circus acts, and he isn’t going to help them....by bringing it to the Senate.

I think that’s politically smart. Right now, the House Dems look like they have lost their minds because they can’t make their crap stick. I think giving them a second line of attack, through the Senate, might give credence to their propagandist claims.

Second, I think he, like Trump, is playing poker, not hopscotch, like the Socialists. Bluff through til you see their hand, and then beat it.

While Graham hasn’t been my favorite actor, in Washington, he’s recently grown a backbone. I don’t know if it’s because he finally has a President ready to rumble and that’s sparked him up......or if it’s an understanding that the Republican base has changed..... and he had better step up his game or he’s out of a job.

How has Graham substantively supported POTUS? Kavanaugh’s confirmation was simply doing his job as committee chair. He gets no credit there.

Isn’t it amazing how it’s always the best route for the GOP to do nothing. They sure are good at that. How did that work for the GOP during the midterms?

What’s going on here is the Dems and their media allies are setting a narrative. The GOP is in the minority in the House and have no power there. Therefore, its incumbent on the GOP Senate to support POTUS on this. This isn’t rocket science. All the Senate GOP need to do is to validate Trummp’s concerns and subpoena Biden Jr. He will fold like Mueller did and all this nonsense will go away.

If the GOP Senate sit on the sidelines this saga will drag on for months and paralyze the beltway. I wish it was different but it is what it is.

To me, it’s amazing we elected Trump and that we keep electing Republicans... in spite of the unending drumbeat about democrat superiority and power... Something YOU are feeding into...

I know you’re aware of that, right?

I see. And who blocked Trump’s DNI pick? Democrats? Nope. Who threatened POTUS not to fire Sessions? GOP Senators. Who failed to repeal Obamacare after campaigning on that for years? Etc., etc.

The GOPe thinks they can beltway flim flam away their role in the ongoing coup. We can not let that happen if we ever want to have representative government again. Progressive and their corportist allies are firmly in control of both parties. “Electing more Republicans” will not solve our problems.

I always thought the Uniparty stuff was tin foil hat territory. Then Donald J. Trump came down that escalator and proved without a doubt it was all true.

Good points...

But lodi you need to remember IF our guys are ‘dirty’ - have black scum under their fingernails... then democrats are covered in filth - garbage and sludge falling off their legs and green pus oozing out of every pore...

First we get rid of the commies and phony white liberal ‘elites’ with their ‘born to the manor’ inadequacy, then we drain the corrupt swamp... THEN we tell RINO’s to grow a backbone or find a different profession.

Perspective lodi - perspective...

I have no problem with the Dems playing the Ukraine whistleblower card..... because this is going to bite them hard once ‘their’ involvement in Ukraine surfaces even further....and it will. Let them run out the rope that's going to hang them!....They think and believe they can control this entire Ukraine issue with a hyped up fake whistle-blower and fake investigations.......they cannot now that can of worms has been opened.

Think only the AG can appoint one, or acting AG in the event of a recusal. Anyone?

You are correct. The older law that allowed Congress to appoint Special Prosecutors was allowed to lapse.

I agree it is subject to Ukraine but the US laws were also broken and therefore Trump has reason to inquire.

It’s been 3 years and the Russia Hoax hasn’t bitten the Dems yet. I see no reason why this will given the lack of interest from the GOP Senate. All the focus is on the House where the GOP is in the minority and powerless.
