WASHINGTON—House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she is directing an impeachment inquiry into President Trump following reports that the president withheld aid to Ukraine while he was pressing the country to investigate Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son.

Hasn’t there been an impeachment inquiry going on for some time? I certainly haven’t seen any floor vote to start impeachment. Maybe some Republican should put forward a motion.

Rudy brought actual document and copies of emails which were given to him by the Ukraine representative from his meeting with them in Spain The phone call followed his return to the dept of State/ DOJ who had asked him to retrieve the materials for them. Until that time the WH refused to answer or return calls from the Ukraine.

IIRC they tried at least one floor vote a while back, only to have it fail by a wide margin. Nafler & Co. have been doing their thing for a while though.

Nancy has said FU. At her press conference she said that this case is the easiest for the public peons to understand but if it falls apart this week they will still pursue an endless series of inquires from their list of impeachment calls.
