Let’s be brutally honest here. Trump is not a Republican. He’s an interloper in the party who hijacked their nomination process in 2016. When was the last time you saw a presidential candidate run AGAINST his party’s official platform on key issues the way Trump did in 2016?
Heck — a lot of us FReepers supported Trump so strongly because we knew he was NOT a Republican.
