Erin Cruz launches effort to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom
NOQ Report ^ | 9/17/19 | Carl Durreck

Posted on 09/23/2019 8:58:56 PM PDT by aquila48

For complete transparency, I’ll state up front I completely support this effort to recall Governor Gavin Newsom. As a California resident, I’ve seen the dysfunction from our elected officials and the radical progressive ideas they push. As an American, I understand the need to fight Democrats tooth and nail, especially when their leadership has been as disastrous as it’s been in California.

Erin Cruz is leading the effort to launch a recall vote against the Governor. We endorsed her campaign two years ago and we support this effort today. Newsom’s policies, from endorsing the sanctuary state status to removing parental choice, have pushed the state beyond the realm of reasonable left-leaning Democrats and into the unhinged lands of hyper-leftism. We’re no longer a state that sets the trends for the progressive side of America. We’re a state that’s tearing down acceptable boundaries in an effort to establish a post-truth society, one where open borders and socialism rule.

Newsom’s popularity in the state has been waning ever since he took office. His old job as San Francisco Mayor has come under fire as well because the policies he imposed on the people have resulted in the once-proud city becoming the epicenter of the homelessness and drug abuse problems where human feces literally litters the streets.

Those interested in participating in the petition need to follow the very clear instructions here. This won’t be easy, not because Newsom is too popular but because the requirements now in place regarding recall elections are so obtuse, one must be very careful they’re printing their petition on properly sized paper with exact margins and no anomalies.

What is this Petition Form about? Why is this Negative printing attached to the petition urging us NOT to support the Recall? How ‘bout putting a real legal petition online that we can print. Just read the introduction about the petition.

Gavin Newsom openly flouted the California Constitution on marriage in 2004.

Instead of being removed from office, and arrested, he was indulged and rewarded.

He rode that lawlessness to the Governor’s Mansion. He may ride it to the White House.

This nation cannot survive if the rule of law never applies to Democrats.

After watching the fiasco surrounding the last recall, I’m not real enthusiastic about taking this guy down.

Does he deserve to be taken down? You bet he does.

I’m just worried some idiot even worse than he is will gain control. California is loaded with them.

I hear you, but the choices are staying with this moron or removing him and taking the chance that someone a bit better will take over. In other words, it’s either lying down and staying with someone that you know is awful vs taking a chance of possibly getting someone a bit better. I’m not sure you can do a lot worse.

And if it succeeds, at a minimum it will send a message to the remaining Rats that the republicans are not totally dead in CA and may even bring in some independents that are fed up with Newsom. Right now he has a 39% approval rating and falling.

We would need a lot more signatures than the last time. No more Arnolds or celebrities. McLintock’s the only serious one I can think of. One last chance hurrah for the state.

It’s not just about Ca, it would set an example for the whole country. It would remind every Governor in every state that they are not as secure and untouchable as they think they are.

I won’t object to either, but I will caution you about getting our hopes up in California. Prove me wrong! Please!

Newsom’s failure to act on the public health diaster in LA will tube the tax base statewide when bubonic plague and leprosy break out there.

Between the planners, general bureaucrat drones, members of the legislature, the governor, and the judiciary (state & federal), there is no hope for anyone living in the state.
