I am the whistleblower. I admit I had no firsthand knowledge of the conversations. But, I spoke to a friend who works with someone who knows about it. I immediately got in touch with the IG and filed my complaint. When I did, they asked,
“Do you even work here?’
“No,” I said, “but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.”
Was this knowledge supported by knowing someone who had stayed at the Trump Hotel?
