As more and more fires rage in drought times it will possibly increase CO2. I don't know.

Let's just bust this BIG LIE.

There is virtually NO CO2 in the atmosphere!

4/100ths of 1% is awfully close to zero. 99% of the atmosphere is Nitrogen and Oxygen. The rest of that 1% is "trace gases"...like argon and helium.

If so it will be blamed on cars, buses, planes and anything that burns crude oil.

Except, of course, the Hollywood Communists, who burn MILLIONS of gallons of raw gasoline in the open air, just to provide the "exciting" special effects for their propaganda-laced movies, including flops and multiple takes.

Instead, as you stated, the RAT control-freaks will indeed blame everything that normal Americans do.

No kidding!
And looks like we’re in for an early, and maybe even snowy, winter.

Burning down the forest to make new growth is something Native Americans did for centuries before Columbus, in both American continents.

Yes, between the natives burning to keep the forest healthy and natural starts without suppression, there were over 4,000,000 acres burned in California each year on average. See https://lao.ca.gov/Publications/Report/3798 These firefighting efforts have been highly successful, with the acreage burned by wildfires in California reduced from an estimated annual average of 4.5 million acres in the 1700s to about 1 million acres annually in more recent years.

The report soft-peddles the dangers of fire suppression. All of the recent deadly California fires are essentially the result of fire suppression. The report also points out the meager controlled (natural and prescribed) fire regime is totally inadequate. And it's because of "clean air" laws. The people in Paradise died so that other people could have "clean air" ealier in 2018 when it was safe to burn the overgrown forests nearby.

That said, you don't have to burn forests (or allow natural burns when it is safe). You can responsibly harvest the forests with the same effect. That's what bray pointed out and that's what private owners do.

Exactly, why don't these Climate Change scientists tell us that the proper percentage of CO2 is and what we have now? If they did they would be exposed for exaggerating the issue.

Continetti did make a good comment today, something about the number of comments in Washington DC in the last 48 hours being with the word "if".

So, the only appropriate response would be the words attributed to Julius Henry Marx "If we had some ham, we could have ham and eggs, if we had some eggs." It would have been the perfect Mike Pompeo response to John Roberts about "should we start shooting at Iran if this, if that, if if if..."

Exactly right and how many people suffered or died from lung issues during those massive fires?

The question we have now is do we manage the forests or do we worship them? Worshiping them has caused the forests to die and burn.

4/100ths of 1% is awfully close to zero.

Sure, but it makes a difference for average global temperature. The 2% water vapor matters a lot more however. Also the rise of CO2 ( 0.028% to 0.041%) is manmade, but is a net benefit.

Yup. Trees are alive, like us.

They live, grow, then get old and die.

We can use them and plant more. Responsible timber cutters have done so for decades.

The idea that old growth is better than new growth is insane. Old growth is static, in decay, waiting to die. It’s beyond mature. elderly.

To each his/her own.

My respect to you, but I could not abide it.
