What I find interesting is that the new strategy, like the old strategy is focused on preaching to the choir. There are milliions of alleged independents not in the choir. Nobody, not AFP, not Heritage or CATO, not TeaParty or RNC is trying to reach out beyond the choir.

Was talking today with a guy who works in an industry that experienced massive outsourcing over the last couple decades (plastic injection molding). He said the Trump tariffs and especially the threat that they’ll be increased is helping bring business back onshore. He said his business is booming and attributed a big piece of it to the tariffs.
People with money know best, so, they must be believed, even when wrong.
However, in the real world, rich and super-rich folks are not smarter than the regular folks.
