Considering the lack of support Cruz has offered Trump since 11/8/16, I wouldn’t take that for granted.

Right after Lewandowski’s STELLAR performance at the hearing Cruz comes out and endorses the guy Lewandowski will have to run against in the NH primary? Why?
Me thinks there’s still anger in Cruz’s heart that Trump spanked his Canadian butt.

[Big difference between Trump and Corey, and Cruz and his NH rep nobody cares about.]
Cruz had better care about O’Brien, if he’s gonna run in 2024, and needs O’Brien’s skills and contacts. Politicians pay attention to stuff like this. As someone who doesn’t have Trump’s huge personal stash, Cruz has to make it clear to people who help him that he will return the favor. It’s not transferable - he’s not gonna endorse Lewandowski, Jared Kushner or Ivanka just because Trump endorsed him.

So he had to do it right now and just for this guy? Not buyin git.

Cruz was born in Canada to a Cuban citizen father. He isnt eligible.

When I hear the term “principled conservative” my antenna goes up. I prefer a nationalist like Trump who loves America any day. Trump has accomplished more in 2.5 years than any “principled conservative” in national politics.

He’s voted for Trump’s bills, where they were conservative. And he’s voted against, when he disagreed:

[Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz stood alone Monday in voting against a GOP motion to start debate on a new immigration proposal that could resolve the standoff over “Dreamers.”
The 97-1 vote dramatized the Texas Republican’s hardline stance against President Donald Trump’s proposal to grant a path to citizenship for as many as 1.8 million young immigrants brought into the country illegally as children.
Cruz has frequently derided as “amnesty” any plan that confers legal status or citizenship on people living in the country illegally.]
I suspect this vote is in part why he lost a lot of Hispanic votes during the 2018 election. Abbott said nothing about the bill.

Ted Cruz worked for the Bushes. Is that enough evidence?

No, Trump lost NH by 1500 votes. Do you mean the primary?
I honestly don’t think Lewandowski can win a senate seat there. Should have run for the House.

How big was the gap in the Hispanic vote between Cruz and Abbott? This big:
7 points over Cruz's DACA vote.
