“What is the latest date for the blockbuster candidate to step in?”
The evening of the convention. The nominee will be rolled out as a reluctant warrior and either Warren or Bernie will be the VP nominee.

Bernie wont be second banana twice. I dont know that Warren would stick around, either, after coming that far and not be the Big Chief. But even if she did, itll be farther than I ever thought she could go once the country knew what a fraud she is.

My apologies. I was thinking Biden. Youre right: Bernie might settle for VP. Pretty dang high for an undiluted and unrepentant socialist!

I have read a lot of posts here that some super candidate will swoop in late in the game and be the nominee. I'm not buying it. Do you really think the entire Democratic party is going to go through the process of debates, primaries, fundraising and more only to anoint someone that hasn't even dipped a toe in the water? I really don't think so. What kind of message does that send to all their voters who have chosen a different nominee in the primaries?
I have also posted here on FR that I don't think MO or Oprah will run unless they think they are a shoo-in. There is no way they will run as a placeholder. If they run, they WANT it.
