Huh - Obama’s church isn’t on that list.

Note also they don’t label “nation of Islam” as a hate group (as they do with all the other Christian groups there) but the token groups are subgroups of that organization.

The Democrats do not seem to be scared by the IG report or AG Barr. The Democrats are not stopping their open pledge to use the power of the federal gov’t to suppress free speech and crush political opponents.

If they knew major indictments and the coup was going to be exposed, they would not be openly taking these positions now.

Instead, they are doubling down and saying “we will get away with it and make sure it is more effective next time”

Typical of today's social-media Democrats. The last thing they want is a standup vote on specific legislation.

The Dems purpose is not to do anything. The dems purpose is to always have an enemy to point to, to blame, to focus hatred. They need a Goldstein.

The communist RATs are good a destroying words.
When a word or phrase absolutely, positively has to be destroyed overnight, the communists are Pros. It’s about the only thing they’re good at besides killing people.
Let’s see.....here’s a few to start off with.
“racist”
“fair share”
“assault rifle”
“climate”
“professor”
“hate”

Their craziness has a silver lining. The dems are scaring people. They’ve become too much like characters in Sci-Fi in a bleak future world.

House Democrats call for stripping tax-exempt status from 60 ‘hate groups’

Why should hate groups get tax exempt status for stripping?

They should pay the tax just like everyone else.

This is beyond the pale. Naked favoritism.

Yep, I noticed that.

The original list has location and revenue. Scroll to the bottom of the article:

But who gets to choose the “hate groups”?

Pretty slippery definitions going on there.

Double-plus ungood is not the same as very bad. No matter how it is articulated in Newspeak.

tax not-for-profits on retained earnings or net assets - no exceptions.

Income Tax on Assets?

Not a great idea, for anyone.

Umm, I thought the IRS granted tax exemptions. IRS-Executive branch=Congress fail. But let’s say they do it and the senate goes along and Trump signs it into law. Some smarty pants will find away to turn it on progressive sacred cows. Thusly this is all posturing once again for the media. Nothing will come of it.

It’s my hope to someday be listed by the SPLC as a hate group.

The SPLC’s first attempt to label the Sons of Confederate Veterans a hate group failed. If this gets passed I see the liberal professional victim groups within the Congress labeling the SCV thus.

Well, I did qualify as “net assets”. There are tax exempt not-for-profits that are very profitable and compete with for profit organizations that do pay tax. I could give examples but won’t on this forum.

I'm sure the 501(c)3 non-profit owned by Maya Cummings, wife of Elija Cummings is on the list.

If you don't know about Ms. Cummings' non-profit, check out this link.
