Is there that much difference between Bibi and his opponent? The guy was a General. Is this like the difference between Madura and Guido (IOW there isn’t much)?
If Bibi can pull Lieberman’s party in he’ll have enough seats to be Prime minister. But they have a strained relationship and that might not be possible unless Bibi makes major concessions. Word is Lieberman wants military action in Gaza with strong action against the terrorists launching rockets into Israel. Bibi may have no choice but to accommodate him. Lieberman has come out of this in the strongest position and is holding the cards.
Obama must be mixed up in this somewhere.

Yup. I've seen it numerous times here in The People's Republik of Connecticut. Either continue to recount, or keep the polls open in certain cities "for two extra hours because inner city voters felt disenfranchised".
